Classic hardtail efficiency and precision that's easy on the bank account.
Premium performance doesn't always require a premium price tag. With the Overdrive 29 1, we've taken our lightweight, hand-built aluminum frame and decked it out with a wallet-friendly combination of components that will have you tackling the toughest terrain with total confidence. 29ers are famous for smoothing out rocky bits of trail and for maintaining momentum on those long rides when you're pushing your limits. This bike has all that going for it, and it sports a wide range of gears that click off shifts with the kind of accuracy Shimano is famous for. Tektro mechanical disc brakes make reigning in the speed easy, and the Suntour XCT fork offers up years of silky-smooth coil-sprung suspension. Looking to get the most bang for your buck? Look no further.

“Affordable” shouldn’t be code for “lame.” Consider the Hook, a thoroughly modern, ridiculously fun, and yes, _affordable_ rig.
If you could only have one bike — just one — the Hook would be the perfect choice. For starters, it’s capable of, well, just about anything you have the nerve for. That includes quick rips on your local trails, all-day suffer fests that have you pedaling away into terra incognita, and everything in between.
We’ve equipped the Hook with the same low-slung, modern frame as its well-heeled Line and Sync’r siblings. Long in the front, short in the back, low and maneuverable — the Hook is deft and precise on tight trails yet rock steady when you are going Mach Chicken down the steepest descents.
The most impressive thing about the Hook, however, might just be its price. We kept the price tag from burning a hole in your checking account by equipping the Hook with awesome yet affordable components, including a plush 120mm fork, simple and effective single-ring drivetrain, powerful disc brakes, and quick-rolling 27.5” wheels.
- Reliable, hand-built aluminum hardtail frame w/ progressive, low-slung geometry for trail riding performance
- SR Suntour XCM 120mm travel suspension fork tackles trail obstacles
- SRAM single ring 1x8 drivetrain gives you simplicity and smooth shifting
- Durable DB SL-7 Doublewall 27.5" wheels
- Powerful Tektro Aries mechanical disc brakes
- Frame is compatible with internally routed dropper posts

The Line is a do-it-all hardtail that’ll have you pushing and redefining your limits.
There was a time when every mountain bike was an all-around hardtail. The Line follows in that great tradition — but that doesn’t mean it’s some kind of crusty throwback. We’ve equipped the Line with a cutting-edge frame that’s lightweight yet bomber. Stable under pressure, yet playful when you’re looking to boost a little air or hit that next corner a bit faster than is, strictly speaking, wise.
The Line’s modern frame is dressed out in parts that are just as impressive. A Shimano 1x9 drivetrain lets you blaze through the gears with pinpoint precision every single time. Because we know hard-charging riders gravitate to these progressive trail bikes, we’ve also added a bit more security in the form of a chain guide with roller, a capable SR Suntour XCR 120mm travel fork (with a lock-out for those big climbing days) and powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.
Climbs, descents, berms, a bit of jumping: the Line upholds the do-it-all hardtail tradition … without being traditional at all.
- Reliable 6061-T6 aluminum hardtail frame with progressive, low-slung geometry for trail riding performance
- Custom-formed and butted tubing adds strength without adding weight
- Smooth front suspension courtesy of an SR Suntour XCR 120mm travel fork
- Shimano 1x9 single-ring drivetrain with chain guide delivers simple, hassle-free performance
- 27.5-inch DP24 Doublewall wheels can take a pounding
- Frame is compatible with internally routed dropper posts
